With a good diet and 1 hour of excersises 5 times a week, how long does it take to get a six-pack??
Summer is near, and the perfect thing to go with it is a strong, six-pack stomach.
Im male, 17. Im starting a 90% vegan diet (%10 meat,fish,chicken) and drinking water ONLY. No junk food, fast food, soft drinks, or excess fats or sugars.
Im going to the gym 1 hour (sometimes 1.5), 5 times a week (Mon.-Fri.). I do everything from spinning, weightlifting, abs & push-ups, etc.
Im also planning to run from 30 min. to 1 hour every morning before breakfast.
If i follow this routine, aprox. how long woill it take me to see results (see a six-pack)?

Im skinny, but got no muscle. Im 1.75 m tall. There is a thin layer of fat covering my abs, so I know I have ot get rid of that first.

you can certainly have a six pack @ 17 it all comes down to eating enough of the right nutrients every 3-4 hours. I would start at 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fats
to increase the metabolic rate you need to exercise at a high level of intensity for 60-80 minutes
The key is consistency. My brother is 15 years old and is very muscular and has a six pack. He doesn’t eat a vegan diet [or anything close to it!] . He didn’t just start exercising and working out. It’s been a gradual development. You probably won’t get that six pack for this summer, but keep working out and you might get it for next year.
You have to be at least 21 to get a six pack.
17 can, although it depends on a lot more than base diet and exercise plan. Genetics and body type are somewhat more determined from person to person, so there isn’t a good way to give you an answer.
As a side note, alchohol has tons of calories, so be sure to avoid that too!
u didn’t write whether u re overweight or normal. if u re normal weight i say very fast, maybe 2 months. if u re overweight – well, u have to lose all your excess weight and then this nasty underskin fat which is very very hard to lose. only after u might see your 6 pack.
do that and you’ll notice results in two weeks
I was on the same diet as you when I was 16 and was running cross country after school every day. I started noticing my 6-pack between 2-3 months of training. We were running 3-5 miles a day. And oh…don’t run before breakfast. Make sure you get some food in your system, preferably low in dairy. Good luck with everything.
Everyone else is making a good point with the genetics and body type. I’m 5′11 and was about 155 back then. So if you’re similar in that regard, you can probably get the same results as I did, and maybe much quicker because you seemed more determined than I was.
hard 4 someone ur age but it depends how fat u are. u dont say. u have the right schedule. if ur skinny maybe 2 months or more. longer if u have some weight to lose or are weedy.

I think you can get your six packs abs even you’re 17 now.
If i see your schedule above, i think you’ll get your six packs in 2 months, but you must do those exercises (from cardio, push-up, sit-up, or maybe you can also join yoga class (for variation), etc.) consistently, and don’t forget to diet.
