Well sometimes you can get hot dogs in smaller packs and buns in bigger packs it’s not always that even though i did hear it happen to my mate yesterday and she had to serve her family with hot dogs in bread
they want you to buy more.
If you need to make lunch for your family of 4 you have to buy, 24 hot dogs (3 packs) and 24 buns (4 packs). Now each family member has to eat 6 hot dogs. The reason the Company does is is:
To make you buy more of their products.
To make you fat
to make you angry
to make you hate hot dogs so much that you never buy them ever Again, and the company can sell more bacon, or biscuits.
Those are just some reasons i came up with but you can check out the book:
Why do clocks run clockwise (and other imponderables) By david Feldman. its a good book in the series of all sorts of odd things.
It will answer the question.
Also: Clocks run clockwise because when a sun dial is made in the ground using a stick to cast a shadow on the ground. It goes clockwise. so when they made the clock on the wall, it made sense to do it the same darection.
=)
Ha ha! This question totally made me think of the movie "Father of the Bride: Part 2"
He simply opened up the package and took out the extra buns! LOL! Maybe you should do that?
I know this doesn’t answer your question (Sorry!) I’m actually not sure why they do it, maybe to get you to buy more hot dogs?
I haven’t seen a 6 pack of hot dog buns in years. They only have 8 packs where I shop.
Buns in my store come in 8′s It’s the hot dogs that come in a pack of 10 (depending on brand)
Who has been watching the bullit proof Monk. So you will always by more buns and then hot dogs
