What's the best way I can get defined abs?
How should my diet be? How often should I exercise my abs in particular? What kind of work outs should I do? Are supplements necessary?
I also heard that many ab work outs can cause women in particular to have abs that plump out rather than be flat and cut. Is this true? Or avoidable?

p90x if you still have belly fat.
if you dont have belly fat then crunches.
Wow dont mind the thumbs down -.- obviously people havent tried p90x or failed to finish it. look it up on youtube and you will see real people who recorded their progress. people should do their research before doing that.

If you want to look lean you need a high protein diet that is low in fats and sugars.
You can do core everyday.
You should do a core routine. Look up 6 minute ab workout in youtube.
Protein powder is the only supplement you need.
diet of mainly (in rank of what should be consumed most) 1.raw fruits and veggies 2. raw nuts, fish. 3.chicken, turkey, whole wheat bread.. everything else should be avoided.. it wont kill ya but it’ll increase the bad fats (the saturated fats and such that are bad for you) also make sure to keep hydrated so your body doesn’t store the water "water weight"
no protien supplements.. that’s what food is for!!.. and if you get to much protien and your body has no use for that protien it’ll turn to fat.. food for thought
as for workouts.. well heres my own made up routine that i do for a good burn..
1. do crunches in a way that my knees and head meet half way up.. (works whole general ab area but is less concentrated in one specific area)
2. lay back down on my bed (or w/e elevated area works) with my legs hanging off (waist down) to the floor.. i then lift my legs to approx a ft higher than lvl with my body and repeat until you can’t take it any longer.. (really works the lower abs which can be most difficult)
3. do cruches where i pull only my legs up and to the side of my body alternating sides..
4. lay on my back and hold my legs out at a 45 degree angle from the ground while flexing my abs..
5.hold a plank position and flex my abs while moving my hips to and from the ground (if you don’t know what this is then google it)
as for how many reps and stuff idk i just start out at #1 doing as many i feel my body is comfortable with and work my way down the list.. as far as how often to do this routine.. i say anytime you aren’t already sore in that area is fine.. i like my body to heal before i work it again..
hope you get something out of this
