What kind of diet do I need to get a six pack?

I am an avid runner and swimmer. I think I need to shed five pounds to have a flat stomach. I am eating about a 2200 calorie diet and doing lots of ab workouts. Do I need to eat more to build up the ab muscles and then shed off the weight or can I build a six pack and lose weight at the same time?

    you can do both at the same times, you seem to be pretty active already.Some intense interval training a few times a week would work wonders, and try to make sure your getting your 2200 from the right places. ; i.e eat lots of fruit versus 2200 calories of sun chips and ginger ale.
    You will probably see more results from doing running or biking intervals over swimming, because you ll burn calories faster, since there is no water to help support your weight.
