What is the best and quickest way to lose the flab on my stomach and turn it into a nice 4 or 6 pack?
I am very new to the whole excercise thing and i want to try and lose the little bit of flab i have on my stomach and tone it and turn it into at least a 4pack. I dont know which is the best way because there are so many different methods. Unfortunately im also a smoker so will this take longer to do than a non smoker?

Okay so you need a good cardio workout with lots weight bearing exercise.
You can’t spot reduce, so don’t bother listening to those who will say do loads of sit ups – this will just put strain on your back but won’t burn off the layer of fat that is currently obscuring your abs.
There are no quick fixes that will work in the long run.

Is a very good website – I’m a girl but I do the interval training and some of the stomach excercises.
Remember – slow and steady wins the race.
You need to do cardio and toning
Running
Cycling
Swimming – this is excellent as it combines both elements and is low impact.
If you ever feel less than motivated I always say this to myself before I go for my daily run
‘To have an athletic figure, I must do athletics!’
Food wise aim for;
200-300 cals for breakfast
60 cal snack
300-400 cals for lunch
60 cal snack
400-500 cals for dinner
Loads of water, I mean a lot!!! and spike it with some citrus fruit as this has an enzyme in it that quite literally eats fat!
These meals should be made up of good quality, close to source foods no alcohol, no pop not even the sugar free variety.
Remember if you have to open a packet (not salads! I mean crisps and chocolate!) to get to it, it is probably man made, processed and full of crap, which in turn is counter productive.
Another of my many mantras is
‘if ya put rubbish in, ya get rubbish out!’ I say that to myself when contemplating sticking a mars bar in my gob!
Best Wishes

Cardio, go jogging for around half an hour, combind that with sit-ups, crunches and press-ups at home instead of sitting on the sofa watching tv.
Good Luck.
cardio and crucnches and other ab and core work.-
do HEAPS of crunches just before you go to bed each day.
and cut back on the chocolate biscuts etc.
2 main things you need to focus on if you want to get you 4 pack or six pack, a 4 pack is not as difficult as the six pack.
Firstly you need to look at your diet, Heidi’s mummy advise for the diet looks good. Cut out any treats/snacks or alcohol, especially beer.
Then get exercising as soon as possible, start doing sport if you dont like hitting the gym, at least 3 times a week and do at least 2 sets of abs exercises everyday!
