What do you think abou a tattoo below the six-pack?

Author: I was thinking about getting a design below my six pack, just where the last two abs fade.
My girlfriend thinks it’s the hottest place for a tattoo, and really wants me to get it done.
i’m not doing it just to do it, the design has meaning and I’ve been planning on getting another tattoo for the past two months.
just wondering on the spot.

uhhh .. i would think that would be a rather painful spot to get a tattoo, and i’m not sure that i personally would find it attractive. plus .. it would have to be perfectly centered and be a perfectly symmetrical design otherwise i feel like your entire body would look crooked or something.
but to get a true, factual opinion on the spot i think the best thing to do would be to go to a tattoo shop and ask one of the tattoo artists what they think about your design in that particular spot. they’ll be able to tell you if it will hurt more or looked crooked or whatever.
oh, and you can always get a temporary tattoo of that design there to try it out for a while and see what you think.

I’m going to try and explain this in the most family friendly way I know how:
As anyone with tattoos know there are two facts which are directly related to getting tattoos- one, that the place you position your tattoo is generally one of your favorite places on your body, also quite often one of your most sexual (sensitive spots on your body include places such as hips, inner wrists, lower back, and collar bone for women), secondly, if you have a tattoo people generally want to touch it (to trace the design, feel if it’s raised, various other unknown reasons, but most people with tattoos get used to people lightly and timidly running their hands over them when ever you show them off). People who like tattoos in their partners generally profess the same wants, usually to a greater degree (the amount of girls saying they want to lick tattoos is incredible, as if the skin would taste or feel different).
Now put that info into imagining the tattoo in one of the most teasing spots on your body. So every girl who sees it is probably going to either want to lick it or touch it, which given the positioning pretty much translates into being purely sexual. So basically- it’s not a bad spot, as long as you make sure the design is not something like "Mother".
If you have six pack it would look good. But regardless, a tatoo is a personal decision. Your body will change over time- so will the tatoo. Go for it, if you want it.
