what are some effective abdominal exercises?

What are some that you can do at home and/or work? I went to menshealthfitness and other sites, but i tried what they said, but it is not working out for me. what are some ab exercises you do? also, what are some ab exercises that you reccommend for me that leave your abs feeling as though you would rather jump into a volcano?

    an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
    stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you will damage your back and spine!
    Slowly move the upper part of your body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times.
    Every week add to the number of repetitions.
    You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

    do full sit ups but go slow so that you actually have to use the muscles going up and down, and all strength work out will be strainous on your muscles because they are not used to you doing them all the time remember to go slow and while you are watching the TV see how many you can do during a commercial break then try to beat that number during the next commercial……GOOD LUCK

    medicine ball !!!!! U sit on the ground and a friend stands in front of you… throw the ball to each other… it is the best ab ex. and it’s fun u hardly even know your exercising… the next day your abs and obliques will be quite sore.

    Have a look at the exercise video clips and instructions at the link provided below. Do at least 3 different abs exercises for best results.
