Try doing the plank. It’s basically like a push up, but without pushing up. Just get in a push up position and get on your elbows/forearm to support your upper body.
Hold it for as long as you can. And repeat 10x a day. 5 in the morning, 5 at night.
Doesn’t mess with your back and is one hell of ab workout. Just remember, when you can’t hold it anymore, give it another 10 seconds.
