How do girls get abs?

How do girls get abs? I don’t mean a 6 pack or anything like that, i just mean a nice toned 2 pack abs? I have a flat stomach and I work out for 1 to 2 hours a day because i run track. So im pretty fit. but i really want to get abs before summer. So what kind of diet do I need to go on? What kind of exercises should I do? I do a lot of running and sit ups and lift but what else should I do? Any tips?
I also need to know what kind of diet i should be eating? do I need to drink protein shakes?

How can I define my abs and arms more?

I’m 17 and I am pretty slim i’m about 150lb and my chest is fine, i’m just looking to define and make my arms and abs bigger is there an way I can hit both areas while also gaining weight and muscle?

Did you use a food journal when trying to add muscle mass and six pack abs?

I am medium built, in the process of getting six pack abs, I am currently at 164 pounds, I am 24 yrs old, workout everyday, and 5′ 11.75” tall. I was just wondering if anyone has used a food journal to keep track of how many protein and calories they consume in order to bulk up/gain muscle mass while keeping their six pack abs during strength training? Also how do you use a food/exercise journal?

Does milk harm 6 pack abs? Also what about too much protein…can it be fattening?

I’m narrowing my problems down. I’m almost at my goal. So too much protein fattening? Milk fattening and in the way of 6 pack abs?

How to get a six pack by this summer?

I want a six pack and a toned body by this summer. I work out 4 times a week for one hour, each time I do 30 mins on my abdominal area and 30 mins working on a different body part (sometimes biceps, triceps, legs, shoulders etc). I also do football (soccer for the Americans) 3 times a week for an hour and a half. Am I doing all the right things? How long will it take? And Should I be taking protein shakes?

How can I get 6 pack abs?

I am 16 and weight lift 4-5 times a week. I drink whey protein shakes for muscle increase. I do ab workouts 2-3 times of the 5 times i lift. I can’t seem to get a 6 pack. I know dieting is a good way eat healthy, which I do. Cardio to get the fat away but i really don’t have a lot of fat on my stomach. I just need some tips to get a 6 pack.

How long does it take to get ripped on a 5 day workout schedule?

I’m extremely skinny but i’ve been working out since september 5 and i’ve been seeing some good results.
Sunday: Arms and some abs
Monday: shoulders and legs
Tuesday: Forarms and abs
Wednesday: Chest
Thursday: Back and abs (i really want abs)

For each muscle group i do about 3-4 freewieight excersises with 4 sets of 8 each, I challenge myself but not an impossible amount. I also drink protein within 30 minutes of the end of my workout.

Given this, how long will it take to get ripped ya think?

My abs don't show as much as I want them too. :\?

I’m already TERRIBLY skinny, I weigh 88lbs (5′1)..90+lbs after I eat..
I’m a 14 year old girl and I workout constantly..
Not too much cardio..only 30 minutes on the elliptical 3 days a week..

I mostly work on strength training and pilates..
Pilates is a KILLER workout on your abs..
I eat TONS of protein and carbs.. yet my stomach muscles are not defined as I want them to be..

I DONT EAT JUNK FOOD.
the only thing I have is a vanilla latte from DD’s every Sunday (with skim milk and 1 splenda)
I very rarely have junk.. but if it’s for a special occasion or i’m at someones house.. I might have to eat cause I don’t want to be rude

I do 160 sit ups a day, run a mile or two every day. Not to mention the PT I do regularly being as I am in the Army. I would like to get some abs within a month, if possible. Six Pack??

A person told me not to eat dairy if you started working out for a six pack. I eat dairy because it has protein in it and the only dairy I eat is low fat yougurt and milk. Why shouldn’t I?

i think im quite near getting a six pack because when i tense i can see all the 6 abs i just have some flab(not much flab just when i slouch down it sticks out) there so i cant see it.
about 6 days a week i do a 30 minute run at fast speed on tredmill. im going to cut out all chocolate out my diet and eat more protein and fruit. how long would it take so the abs show all the time when im standing up or doing anything..? i also do lots of weight training.

Is it possible to get a 6 pack abs in 4 weeks 5 days?

6 Pack Abs Plan. Question?

I am going to attempt to get a six pack.( I am 13 nearly 14)
I have already started and this is what I am doing. the what I plan to do.

Doing already -

20 – 30 minutes Weights, crunches and sit-ups (every other day)

40 minutes walking / 20 minutes cycling (5 days a week)

Eating 2 meals a day (That is convenient to me, not part of a diet plan)

AS WELL AS… (In the Week) –

2 Hours sports

What I plan to do -

45 – 60 Minutes Weights, crunches, sit ups, and chin ups (every other day)

40 minutes walking / 20 minutes cycling (5 days a week)

2 Medium Meals, High in protein, low in fat (every day)

AS WELL AS (In the week) –

2 Hours sports

1 – 2 Hours swimming

1 Hour running

My Question is….
Do you think this is enough? What else should I do?
Can you recommend any meals high in protein?
Any Advice and Tips are welcome?

By the way, I am 5" (I know short for my age but whatever) and 6 Stone 10, and only have a bit of fat on my stomach.
I can feel the hard muscle underneath when I tense. But how do i get that visible? and more defined
