    You should do a 10 minute work out everyday.
    As "OIL" said, cardio reduces fat all over, it doesn’t define muscles. You should do cardio as well, because people tend to have strong ab mucles, but have a layer of fat covering them.

    You should do CARDIO every day, at least every other day, to get a six pack

    Six packs are made in the kitchen. Strength of the abs has little to do with them showing. It’s the layer of fat over them. So, either of your strategies will work as well as the other. Abs are said to be the muscle group that you can exercise daily. Typically, you want to do every other day.
