Is salad, fruit, and two servings of skim milk enough for a muscle-builder?

I’m 160 lbs, and about 6′ 1". I want to slim down to get a more Beckham-esque body (lean muscle and low body fat). Is this enough to eat at lunch or should I also buy a chicken sandwich or something? Or chicken fingers?

    You definatly shouldn’t be sliming down man. Chicken fingers have a lot of fat. Try chicken with no skin and that is not deep fried.
    Being toned with lean muscle you have to be able to grow the muscle first. For that u need protein. Eat lots of it, you wont gain weight by eating the right proteins.
    try a high protein, low carb diet for a bout six months but eat as much fruit and veggies as u want.
    Do a lot of cardio, but do it after you weight train. This will burn off any excess fat and if there is no fat, muscle. Then ya start lookin like Beckham. Dont set your standards to high and always keep your morale up. Have fun and keep it consistant.

    6 months man……..u will see a huge difference if u stay disciplined

    not enough at all really..depends what you eat the rest of the day though. but for your weight and frame you should definately be eating over 2000calories a day probably 2500 if you want to be putting on any significant muscle.

    Dont worry about the excess fat, as you put muscle on your metabolism should increase and burn it off.

    Lol man I just can’t understand this. Another guy asking this, man at 6′1 and 160 lbs you gotta be a skeleton. I’m 5′9 and 165lbs and I’m in serious need of bulking up another 10.

    Losing weight is based upon your overall caloric intake and amount of exercise – not based upon the specific foods you eat for lunch lol.
