Is it possible for a guy to get 6-pack abs or at least a flat stomach by working out and doing ab exercises?

I’m 18 and I work out on a regular basis – abs, biceps, triceps, chest etc. I am wondering if continuing to follow my workout routine will eventually cause the bit of fat around by stomach to disappear or is cardio necessary or something else also necessary?

I was in the same situation and I got great abs and fine muscles using Six Pack Abs

cardio will certainly quicken the process up, but working out and doing ab work with eating the right foods will definately get the look your chasing

Not entirely. To get a six-pack, you need to have a very low body-fat level. A combination of exercise and diet is needed to get to that low level of body-fat. You cannot spot reduce. To lose that last bit of fat around your waist, you still need to exercise and diet.

I found out I was doing my ab exercises the wrong way and at the wrong times! I thought if I just started doing crunches and eating right that I’d get rid of my belly fat and my abs would pop up!

I wasted alot of time in the gym. I found a book that helped at http://www.unflabyourabs.com. Gave me some corrections and a free book of smoothie recipes that really helped with the diet end of things. I try to drink 4 to 7 smoothies a week, as one of my meals of that day. Besides that, varying the workout and intensity and, yes, doing cardio every second day is necessary. Good luck!
