Nope, but without one, being able to take hard bodyshots will be deadly on the midsection. And if you do choose to work on them, don’t dositups every day, do ab work on every other day, everyone has abs, it’s just that they are hidden beneath FAT. You SHOULD have a six pack already if you have really trained and watched what you eat. Eat slot of veggies, white meat like chicken, tuna, salmon for protien and only whole grains, such as whole wheat bread, granola bars, oatmeal, for carbs (basically energy). Donot eat carbs before you sleep as theywill be stored as fat and will not digest right. If you can, run in the morning 5-6AM is ideal. Run using sprint intervals (google it). Then do your boxing workout in the PM. Always warm up THEN stretch. Also, do not go on diets, because as soon as you quit, you gain FAT. Remeber,a six pack is just the biproduct of hard work and healthy eating. Try to mix up your workout every now and then. Hope this helps
you dont need one look at butterbean but having a six pack wont hurt you it will help you remember body shots affect very much and bruce lee once says if you dont have a solid base and a solid six pack you arent ready to compete at all for anything but this isnt true but a six pack is only gonna help you and give you that special result of working hard to i would try to gain one if i was you
the "necessity" in boxing is hard and dedicated training. the six pack is simply the "result" of all that hard work.
Nope. But u must be able to take a clean shot to the body. Sit ups and medicine ball work always helps.
