hun, you really should do more than that if you are looking for results.
how about 20-30 minutes of ab exersizes a day..you would have results in about 3-6 weeks depending on how much fat tissue you have.
there are two muscle groups that you can not over work, your abs and your calves.
unfortunately 20-30 sit-ups a day is nothing. if you want abs, you gotta do cardio combined with all different kinds of sit-ups. i hate to say it, but the most important thing is cardio when it comes to abs.
Probably never. You must do more than that!!! I would do 50 crunches per day and then increase by 5 everyday!!!! Crunches will tone your abs much more. By the way, a fun fact is your only strengthening the fat around the stomach!!! This would get you no where. Might want to join fitness club if your serious about toned abs!!!!!!
It takes more than that to get abs. Typically the abs are already there they are just covered by a layers of fat. Im not implying your overwieght or anything like that.
Get abs is mostly about diet. Its one of the first places your body uses to store fat and last places it chooses to burn it. Running, swimming and other cardio exercises will reveal your abs quicker than just doing situps. Also, while you are just sitting around watching TV or in class or driving just tighten up your abs for five seconds at a time. Do this whenever you think about it. It will speed up the process. Good luck.
Oh, and sorry to say it but some peoples just wont get abs regardless of how hard they try. There are a lot of factors that include diet, genetics, age, race and many more components. Dont be discouraged by this, just realize it may take far more time and effort than you might think.
your abs are already there you just gotta uncover them. sit ups is going to do nothing more than strengthen your abs. if you want to simple see them better there is no better way than to walk, jog, run depending on how descent of shape you are already in.
First of all, if there is any fat on your stomach, the abs will be there, but hidden by the layer of fat. So basically, cardio helps you get all slim, but you will need to do loads more than that to achieve abs. Try various ab workouts, just google it, or go onto about.com fitness section.
it just depends on your metabolism. like, if you eat right and exercise regularly, you’ll get them not fast but gradually. Don’t hurry and rush your body to tone up tho. If you start out small and slowly, you can work your way into something good that lasts a while. As in, if you exercise like a demon all the sudden you’ll eventually get abs, but they’ll go away if you don’t keep it up. If you slowly work into it, they can last a while. Instead of doing 20-30 situps a day, I’d start out with 10 each week, then the week following add 5 or 10 more. and keep going til you can do up to 50-70 a day. But don’t just work your abs. Even though you want your abs to be toned, you should work other places of your body too. Change up your workout and it can increase your metabolism which can help you get abs faster. Still do some type of abdominal workout but also like go running one day, or weightlift the next day. If you just work your abs the same amount in the same spot everyday, it almost becomes immune after a while. I recommend crunches, leg lifts, and bicycles (the real way) Those 3 exercises shape the top, middle, bottom, and sides of your abdominals. And who knows, if you really work your hardest to shape your abs, you might end up shaping other places of your body too such as your arms or legs. Good luck!!

That depends still if you eat alot of junk food or eating more than you burn that 20 to 30 sit ups might not do anything.
