I have Muscle Pain when i Work out, How to get Rid of it?

I have muscle pain on my left side right below the ribs, behind the obliques. I dont know if its muscle scar tissue for sure, but physiotherapy has helped but after recently pushing the intensity again on the abs, it started to sting. How to get rid of this problem, and how to pinpoint exactly what it is, any medical scan like an x-ray for muscles?
I always stretch but somehow i tore a muscle or something while working out probably a bench press, it happened a while back.
its not work out pain, lol, its a sharp sting in a particular area that stop me from working out too hard.

I was in the same situation and I got great abs and fine muscles using Six Pack Abs

It sounds like you tor somthing.First off i would recomend seeing a doctor.A doctor should be more than qualified to exsplain the problem and give you recomedations. Or i would stop doing any movments that caused pain and see if over time you fill better. Or continue to do your physiotherapy if you said it helped. If you choose to continue to workout on movments that cause discomfort i would highly recomend decreasing the wait or intensity to a level that dosent agrivate your injury.

Also remember to have a proper warm up before exercise.

What are the benefits of a warm up?
Performance may be improved, as an appropriate warm up will result in an:

Increased speed of contraction and relaxation of warmed muscles
    Dynamic exercises reduce muscle stiffness
Greater economy of movement because of lowered viscous resistance within warmed muscles
Facilitated oxygen utilization by warmed muscles because hemoglobin releases oxygen more readily at higher muscle temperatures
Facilitated nerve transmission and muscle metabolism at higher temperatures; a specific warm up can facilitate motor unit recruitment required in subsequent all out activity
Increased blood flow through active tissues as local vascular beds dilate, increasing metabolism and muscle temperatures
Allows the heart rate get to a workable rate for beginning exercise
Mentally focused on the training or competition

hope you get better. later lee

    good luck

Stretch. Works the muscles and makes them feel good.
