How to workout well and get abs and muscles?

Everytime I try to run the treadmill I stop in like 10 minutes. How do you keep going? It just gets boring and I dont want to do it… Also, how do you get abs? I know that sit ups are good but are there better ways? And… how do you get arm muscles? I’m 14 and I weigh 130 lbs. About how many pounds should I lift? How long and how many of each should I do a day.

    People are able to run for a long period of time because they are committed. Commitment is all you need to be able to fun for a longer period of time and that is the key into getting a 6pack. If your just getting a 6pack abs just for the hell of it, then theres really no point, because you need something that will jump start you into working out and motivate you in running for a longer distance.

    You get abs by working your lower,upper,middle (there is a word for the middle but im not quite sure on what that word it but it doesnt really matter) abs.
    You should do about 1 hour of ab workout and 1 hour of cardio. cardio is anything that gets your heart rate up. You should never go over 1 hour because it can damage your body later on in life.

    I dont really know how much about weight lifting, but, in order to get huge muscles you should, lift a large amount of weights and small amount of reps. 5-8 are in a rep and you should repeat the rep about 3 times. (i’m not all to sure on arm muscles and lifting weights, i just know how to get abs.)

    Another is a good diet. not diet, but a healthy meal. Chicken over meat and fruits over snacks.

    I have a routine you could use and its not that hard at all, but really effective, half the time is just doing crunches, and a lot of people out there says that crunches doesnt do anything to your body, but they are wrong, crunches works your abs and allows you to burn calories.

    People who can run for long periods of time have slow- twitch muscles instead of fast twitch muscles which are for sprinting If u were to see all your muscles in your body slow twitch muscles would be bright red. As for abs the worst thing you can do is overwork 2 to 3 days a week would be good for abs and do 50 crunches 50 queen chairs then do some conditioning exercises like the gauntlet and strength gaunlet if you have any questions about the gauntlets let me know blazebaseball1@yahoo.com

  • I totally agree with you on the treadmill, I also can’t stay on it for longer than 15 minutes. I rather go do some rowing for longer.
    How I fixed the treadmill part was running to the gym from my house instead of just running in one place for an hour, ten times more fun.
