You don’t need any equipment to get a six pack – you need to alter your diet and then get an exercise regime in place. You’ll find a full tutorial here.

    Hey Jack,

There is so much BS going around about how to get six pack abs. Some is decent advice, most of it is rubbish. If you want great looking abs, you need to focus on a LOT more than just training the abs directly. Let’s talk about fat loss:

The most important thing for fat loss, is that your diet is as natural and unprocessed as possible. It almost always comes back to the over processing of food that makes it bad for you, and makes it totally destroy your metabolism and hormone balance in your body. For example, why eat refined grains, when you can eat whole grains. Why eat refined sugar, when you can get natural sources of sugar from a high nutrient whole food like fruit. Why eat highly processed, refined, and hydrogenated vegetable oils (these are THE worst thing in the modern diet), when you can eat natural sources of healthy fats like nuts, avocados, fish, eggs, coconut milk, organically raised meat, and so forth. The point is to not fall for some gimmick like low carbs, low fat, high protein, or any other combination that has you focusing on one macronutrient vs. another. Your body needs all macronutrients to thrive and obtain a variety of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, etc. Trying to cut an entire food group out just works against what your body needs.

There is much more detail on this vitally important topic towards losing body fat for life in the book at link below, and many more valuable tips. I wish you the best of luck.

6 packs are hard to get and take a lot of time.
If you start dieting and excersizing, you will probably lose the weight lonngg before you get a 6 pack. start doing crunches and stuff for a 6 pack, but like I said, it takes months and onths to get a really nice defined one.

get on the floor and do some ab workouts, find something comfortable to do it on, i just use a blanket i put on my floor, and I do the Ab Ripper X workout from P90X (you can get it off torrents or if a friend has the dvd borrow it)

or you can look up different workouts on youtube, and do 25 reps of each, and always switch it up so your abs never adapt to the workout. Remember to keep your form well, and keep your chest up.

If you’re straining your neck, or your neck starts to hurt, you’re doing the workout incorrectly, don’t forget to stretch before and after, and eat something good after you’re workout, as your body needs something to help rebuild your muscles. Don’t workout your abs every day, do it every other day and let them recover.

  • Lawrence says:

Drink lots of water (it fills up your stomach so your not tempted to snack)
Invest in alot of sugar free Gum (again it is great for when your hungry, between meals)
Invest in a Pedometer and walk alteast 10,000 steps (This is what I am currently doing, on average with eating only 3 meels a day I have lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks. )

I heard this on a CD once, that think of your body as a savings account. As you add money your account gets fater, as you take out money your account becomes slim. So try to "take out" as many calories as possible, and you will be fine.

William K knows where it’s at.
Listen to that advice, it’s the secret to losing weight.

I’m assuming you already have decent abs though, just not visible.
Because if you’ve never worked your abs in any way, and have a low bf% you’re just gonna look retarded

Here’s what I recommend for losing weight (in a healthy way!)

    Eating Tips
    -Eat 5-6 small meals
    -Eat every 3-4 hours
    -Don’t eat after 7 p.m.
-Eat lean meats (turkey, chicken, tuna, fish) – if you’re a vegetarian you know how to add healthy protein (fish, poultry, peanut butter, etc.)
-Only eat whole grains (and although a label may say whole grains, make sure it says 100%. If it doesn’t it could be processed like white bread.) Your diet doesn’t need to be low carb. As long as it’s whole grains and you eat reasonable portions they’re okay to have!
    -Eat lots of vegetables
-Eat fruit (try to eat more veggies – less sugar)
    -Low fat

    Exercise
-I recently started doing the Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga video. I’ve been doing it the past two weeks, and have already noticed a major benefit. It’s really tough, but I highly recommend it (it’s cheap too-only cost me ten bucks!) I would recommend getting a yoga mat so you don’t slip all over the place. This will help tone your muscles (NOT build bulk-yoga is known for creating lean muscle).
-The yoga should be enough for toning. To burn extra calories, try to add some cardio (walking, running, swimming).
