You can get a six pack without running or using equipment. You don’t have to "run", as intense as that sounds, but you’ve got to do a form of cardio for at least 20 minutes a day to burn the fat off that is covering your abs. You can run, jog, jumprope, go biking or even walk swiftly. You just need to do something to raise your heartrate and sustain it for at least 20 minutes. Also, if you do the cardio when you first wake up then your body will burn more fat off than it would later in the dayOran exercises are important as well because doing them will bring your abs forward. For ab exercises do crunches, bicycles, frog kicks, sit ups and leg lifts. Do 2 of those exercises each day and be sure to mix them up. With 20 minutes of cardio a day coupled with 2 ab exercises it will only be a matter of time before those abs show themselves.
Do a lot of situps. Work on your obliques (those are a great workout) and look up a few different kinds of situps to do. if you do them often, they’ll pay off.
