How to get abs (for women)?

Hi everyone. I’m an athlete and I exercise a good amount daily, but I would like to know some good exercises (and perhaps diets) that focus on abs. I would like something that gives results…Having a 6 pack is everyone’s dream, but I know you can’t get one over night :D . What do I do to get started?

I was in the same situation and I got great abs and fine muscles using Six Pack Abs

You and me both, sister :)

I don’t have a six-pack, but I have a firm abdomen section which is about as extreme as I want to go. I would suggest you do a lot of sit ups. You also might want to focus on cardio if you have a pouch over your stomach; all the muscle in the world will do you no good if there’s a layer of fat covering it up! But since you’re an athlete this probably is not a problem for you.

If you have access to a pool, a great exercise is to hug a floaty board to your chest and kick. Make sure you’re using your entire legs to kick, instead of just your feet. You’ll start to feel it in your ab muscles if you do this long enough, I try to get in at least a few laps of doing this every day. Sit-ups, I admit to slacking off on, but as long as you’re doing something. Crunches work well too!

    I hope this helps!

running/jogging helps work out your stomach
but situps really work jus start out doing 10 situps 5times everynite/day [your tummy might get a little sore]
and keep adding more as you get better
jus eat alot of fruit and not to much greasy food
and you will see results in a few months
