Sorry to break it to ya, but sit ups alone will not give you a six pack. Even so, you aren’t supposed to do them everyday. Strength training exercises (push ups, sit ups, crunches, etc) should be done every other day because your body needs time to build up muscles. Everytime you do a bunch of crunches or situps or whatever strength training routine you’re doing, your muscles tear because you’re working them, and that’s how they grow. So do sit ups every other day to give your body time to repair the muscles. You could do them every day, but you’re not going to get results as fast.

But in any case, sit ups are still a good addition to other exercises. I’d do about 5 sets of 15 if you’re in shape. If you’re out of shape, do 6 sets of 8 to 10.

Goodluck! and remember what I said.

YOu need to have a very small body fat percentage adn doing about 500 every two days should get you abs in about 3 monts or more and I would suggest to eat more healtier foods with high grams of protein
