if you want them to be seen, you need to do crunches, not sit-ups and you need to do them with resistance. Also, if you have any excess body fat covering them you will need to do some cardio to trim the fat. good luck, hope this helps

Edit: Sandy Trueman….training your abs with a variety of different crunch exercises using resistance will work along with some cardio so they show. idiot!!

doing sit ups every day wont get you a six pack
you have to have (not sure exactly) around 8% body fat or lower to have a six pack
once you got that then you need to build abdominal muscle and strength
so so some sit ups and google for other exercises

Do as many as you can until you physically cannot do anymore. But do them in reps. Like 10 sets of 10 or 100 sets if 10. Do them when you get up and when you go to sleep. Drink lots of water

200 or 250 like 100 in the morning and 100 at night everyday lol

500 Is an idiotic answer and I hope it wasn’t serious. First, sit ups suck, don’t do them. Do crunches, they work your muscle way more and you’ll get the results faster. Just lay on the ground and clench your abs as hard as you can, curling up a few inches off the floor. Each one should last about a second. Do them until you start to hurt just a little bit, then take a 30 second break and repeat the process 2 more times. Crunches give really good results, really fast. If you have a low body fat percentage you may even get visible results in a week or two.

    Hey there ,
    Go here: http://budurl.com/SixPackGuide
It’s an abs guide that worked pretty well for me.
btw. ab exercises like crunches, sit-ups, and ab machines are the LEAST effective method of getting flat six pack abs.
    This should help
