how many sit-ups a day shoud I do to get abs?
Am not in a fat state, infact am almost skinny, just wanna know how many sit-ups a day I should do to get decent abs without having to drag myself to the gym. thanks for you opinion.

Abs 101
If you want proper ab development, you need to add resistance (weight) to your ab exercises. Abs are muscles just like biceps, triceps, pecs, glutes, whatever. You need resistance to properly strengthen and build them. The same goes for abdominals. Some of the best Ab exercise are:
Weighted Crunches
Cable Rope Crunches
Weighted Leg Raises
Seated Ab Machine
Stability Ball Crunches
Weighted incline sit-ups
Although you state you are not in a fat state, it is best to perform cardiovascular activity before your workout. This allows the body to warm up as a result and you’re able to get a better contraction on your abs when you work them.
Regardless of what exercise you do, the key is to add weight/resistance. If not, you will never increase the amount of lean muscle tissue in the area.
You only need to train your abs every other day for maximum results, the increase in muscle mass is in the rest period (24hrs at least). More workouts provide no additional benefit to your abs. It will only cause you to get weaker as a result of overtraining. In addition, you should combine this weight training with proper diet, Muscle fiber is made of tightly- wound protein molecules that is damaged during a workout, (this is where the term "ripped" comes from) so you need more protein than the sedentary person to help that muscle tissue repair.

60 a day should be good need to do other ab workout s though to get abs and abs take a longtime to look good
I do 100 every day, but honestly, its not sit-ups that will help. Its your diet. You have to really eat healthy to get 6-pack abs.
right now, i do 150, i keep on increasing them, but, its not that good to do situps, try the abs exercize, sleep, put ur hands behind ur head, try to get up and then go back, i did this and now i have gr8 ones!!!

Start with fifty for the first week, then increase to two sets of them the second week… and add as health professioals recommend =)
try is as many as you can unless you take some products and follow some particlar diet it wont work.
Your best option is to get your body fat down to like 4% and you will be able to see your abs. if you have like 15% or above and ripped abs you would not be able to see them.
