How long would it take to get good notable muscles like a six-pack and muscles in the arms?

I do about 200 crunches and sit-ups and also lift weights about 250 times every day for six or seven days a week

depends on how much you train, and how much fat you currently have that you need to loose

you need the right genetics or 1,00 sit ups won’t do it and plus it sounds like your over doing it your burning more muscle than your gaining

Sometimes it’s way too much.. muscles grow when they are resting after training.. Every muscle need at least 36hours of rest.. take proteins, but only AFTER your training.. I have a lot experience at training, so just trust me..

your supposed to lift ever other day. It will take about to weeks to show up. By taking a day off it allows your muscle fibers to heal up, which is going to increase muscle size.

Not long at all… You just have to work at it and keep doing it regularly. I used to do crunches and other stomach exercises to get abs. It only took about a month or two for it to be noticeable.

Depends on where you are starting from and what you are REALLY doing for exercise. Six packs are made in the kitchen. Most changes can come in about 6 weeks. That’s why all the infomercials have a six week challenge – like the Bowflex.

You are doing a lot of repititious work. There are more effective ways to get a six-pack abs and muscles in the arms. I would suggest free weights and circuit training for a faster more efficient way of getting results.

As always, diet and exercise are the key.

As for diet, try eating 6 smaller meals a day with a protein shake for breakfast and lunch. A single serving of fruit for mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. Dinner should be a sensible meal- minimize rice and breads. Try this for a two-week period. Then, vary your meals accordingly.

Workouts should have weights and circuit type of training. Free weights are great for toning and weight-loss. Try some of the powerlifts such as squats and deadlifts. You can try dumbbell squats with shoulder presses. Here is a great and effective circuit training using a treadmill. Walk for 2 minutes (as a warm-up), jog for 2 minutes, run hard for a minute, then jog for 2 minutes, run hard for a minute, etc…do this for about 20-23 minutes. This works great.

This is just a start. Keep working out and eating properly. When your body fat gets lowered, your abs will be notable.

    Good Luck.

any dietitian will probably tell you that it depends on the amount of exercise you do, and that you also have to watch your diet. Plus I think you are exercising too much, you should also make a schedule and get a certified trainer to review your schedule and diet.

keep up the good work, you’ll see results with in 3 months depending on your size, if you are a big person you will probably need more time. When you reach your goal, you need to maintain for the rest of your life! OK… Good…
