How long would it take for me tp get a six pack doing regular sit ups everynight?
Im going to start doing sit ups to work on a six pack. Im going to start doing 3 sets of 30 sit ups everynight, an do little by little more as i progress, or in other words, can handle.

As you would know every one is crazy about that six pack look. Nice abs look great when your down the beach exposing your midsection. This is very true with the majority of fitness fanatics. But what if I told you that most people (99%) were wasting there time with their approach. read more.
Misconception about the abs
When you look at that calvin klein model with the "six pack" or the athlete with "six pack" they all have the one thing in common. They have a low bady fat percentage. Most individuals that have a "six pack" are somewhere around the 10% body fat mark. In fact the magic number for a man is 9.8% and for a women it is 13%. This means that unless you get your body fat percentage down to those figures (9.8 % men, 13% women) then your wasting your time. It does not matter if you do the best abdominal exercise out there or if you perform 1000 reps per day, the bottom line is you need to lower your body fat percentage. Any trainer or person that tells you any differnent needs a serious reality check. Infact crunches are a possible reason your suffering from back pain.
Lowering your bodyfat
There are various ways you can reduce your body fat and unfortunatley I have to be brief because there is only so much room on this page. I could speak on these topics for hours. You will hear many different opinions about these topics too but there is more than enough scientific research to back it up. I am happy to answer questions on these topics and yes I will give you an intelligent answer.
1) Manage your insulin
Take fish oil
2) Manage your cortisol
3) Dont do aerobics……yes thats right no aerobics
4) Ensure thyroid (T3 & T4) is functioning optimally
5) Do resistance based training
6) Do compund movements
7) Short rest intervals
9) Get at least 8 hrs sleep per night. Sleep has a huge impact on the synthesis of your hormones. Growth hormone , DHEA, cortisol.
10) You need to eat fat. Yes thats right fat! Who told you that saturated fat was bad.
11) Dont count calories! yes thats right too
Most of these things will appear obvious however not many trainers do these things even half right, nor do they understand the science behind these principles. All of these topic take an in depth understanding to optimise your body composition. If everyone new this we would all look like athletes. If you want to know more than feel free to contact me.
No more crunches !!!!!

too long for most people in this day and age
If you’re young (under 30), it should take about 3 to 4 months. If you’re older, about 6 months. It’s all in your metabolism, muscle tone, and heredity.
