How long does it take to get a six pack?

I am very skinny and have basically no fat on my body. How long would it take to get a six pack with doing the basic ab exercises?

Dave02 says:

I was in the same situation and I got great abs and fine muscles using Six Pack Abs

    Okay,
You need proper nutrition and a well-balanced exercise routine to go with these ab-focused exercises. It depends on your physical fitness level, and the kind of ab work outs you are doing as well. Perform several (3-5) abdominal exercises 3-5 times a week even as little as a half hour to a max of an a hour and a half. Start with exercises and repetitions that are comfortable for your fitness level and as you improve increase the number of repetitions. You do not need to do all the exercises; simply select those that work well for you and vary your routine over the months.
If you were to invest in a core ball, they usually come with a paper inside the box that will show you the different types of exercises that will work different muscles which will show different results.
But if you do regular ab workouts such as doing the Side Bends,Medicine Ball Sit Ups,Weighted Curls with Medicine Ball, and the Cable Crunch you should be well on your way in i’d say 2-3 months.
    Good Luck!

I have a body like you and it took me about 3 months.
It is totally worth the effort.

You need to add some muscle mass first. Talk to a dietitian about healthy calories and diet in general. You don’t say how old your are. That’s a factor too. Don’t down play skinny, it’s way healthier than fat.

It took me about 1 year to get almost perfect Ab’s. But it takes a lot more effort than with the basic exercises!!

If you have no fat on your body, you need to get some weight and convert that fat into muscles by weight training. You also need to determine your weight/health profile such as figuring out the body mass index. It is harder to achieve six pack if you have no muscles.
