How do you get a six pack without eating like a bird or a squirrel?
I want to eat damn it. I don’t like eating like those men’s fitness magazines where they tell you eat 2 spoons of raisins, 1 slice of wheat bread, and 2 spoons of nuts, and a 1/4 glass of orange juice for breakfast. Man, screw that I want to be able to eat like a human not a bird or a squirrel. Somebody give me advice on eating what you want to eat and still having that six pack. I’ll hit the gym hard to make up for what I eat is it possible?

Sure it’s possible to eat what you enjoy and work out at the gym. The trick is to EAT LESS of it.
The only way you’re gonna have a six pack, is to eliminate the abdominal fat….then they’ll show. So you’re gonna have to do a lifestyle change…..watch what you eat and plenty of exercise. The best exercises for the six pack, which worked for me is to hang and do leg lifts. Do the vertical leg lifts and the obliques. Crunches will work too, but they’ll eventually cause back pain, and the leg lifts (to me) actually work better. If you don’t do a lifestyle change, then when you’re finished with your diet and exercise, the fat will begin to build up around the abdomen again. Trust me with this…..been there done that.
To get a six pack you have to lose the lard, which means being careful about what you eat and drink. It’s almost impossible to exercise enough to compensate for a bad diet.
The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then your consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d
*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.
Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with excellent resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter.
A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.
*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Email me if you want a good indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have other questions.

lot’s of sit ups my friend.
As long as you exercises it’s all good, now if what you’re after is also good health then that’s where you have to look at what you’re eating, My dad used to eat like crap, meaning greasy and unhealthy foods back in the day (1970′s) and he had a great looking body, small waist, big arms, large chest, all muscle, all because he exercised everyday (mostly weights and swimming), then he got married, stop exercising and got a belly, lol, now he’s trying to eat healthier and is exercising everyday and is starting to get back in shape, also remember that protein is what regenerates your muscles and the body regenerates when you’re sleeping so if you want a six pack while still eating like a jolly king, go do some exercises.
Loads and loads of sit ups
you need protein my friend….i’m working on my 6 pack, and it’s about what you eat, your diet, you need to consume calories if you are working out hard at the gym…..after you work out you need to consume a whey protein shake….you can do as many crunches and leg lifts as you want but if your diet isn’t rich in protien, you’ll wasting time…balance your protien, carbs, and fats……i can give you my eating regime that my trainer gave me…..

try to space your meals 3-4 hours apart to keep your metab going all day….it works trust me…I’ve been on it for a few weeks and notice a huge difference…i’m already seeing huge definition in my abs!
Good luck!
I use an advocare product that burns fat, reduces my hunger, gives me energy, and most importantly to me…. Lets me eat what I want! There are all types of this sort of thing on the market… it’s not hard to find. And I bet they all work to some degree.. I just know that the stuff that i have been taking has allowed me to drop abut 18 pounds in a 6 week time period… Still going… I want that ripped look too! good luck!
You can eat anything you like, just don’t od on it.My brother works out and trust me it’s working, everyday at night he lies on the floor and does about 50 crunches and other stuff and he almost has a six pack so just work out and eat.
Yes, it is possible. You burn extra calories when you exercise.
I am going to pump you up with iron!!!
The good news is you already have a six pack. The bad news is that it is probably coated over with body fat, which is why you can’t see it. You don’t have to do anything special, just make sure you are burning more calories (through exercise) than you are consuming (through eating). The eating part and the exercise are the two factors, and you have to make a balancing act with them. Find the proportions of both that work best for you. Best of luck.
