You can only get a flat stomach or lose belly fat with a sensible diet and exercise. Do weight resistance exercise to boost your metabolism and burn fat. Do high intensity cardio to burn fat. There are no specific exercises that can help you get a toned stomach or lose belly fat. The stomach will look toned if you have low body fat levels. This can only be achieved by forcing your body to burn your body fat. Unfortunately, we cannot control where the body burns fat. We can force the body to burn fat by reducing calories and exercising.
There is a more detailed explanation in the following articles. Hope it helps

I have the same problem, but i find doing sit ups, and cycling is helping for me
we are in the exact same situation
You can do both at the same time by running or swimming, or any exercise that has you moving at an accelerated rate and has your heart pumping really fast.
You see, when our hearts pump at more intense levels, we burn off calories much quicker than doing nothing all day. We get calories from the foods we eat, each food or drink will have their amounts of calories. And we need those calories to keep our body working each day.
If we consume more calories than our body needs, the body basically says ”i’ll save this for later.” and puts it as fat, for our bodies to use. In this regard, fat is healthy, but not too much.
To stop the body from saving the calories as fat, we need to tell our bodies we have a need for them NOW, not later. So, as said above, run, jog, walk, swim, whichever you find the best method to burn them off.
Remember to eat low calorie foods, but if you can, eat foods high in protein and fibre, like eggs, oats, brown rice, and red meats as long as they’re grilled. The protein will build more muscle on our bodies, and the fibre will help heal our torn muscles, or cuts, or bruises and sustains muscle for longer.
So, you’ll put on weight, but in muscle, and if you do the exercise to burn calories, your body fat percentage should drop. And when that happens, you’ll have your 6 pack. (Yes, you don’t need to do sit ups for them either.) Enjoy.
