Getting a six pack is more about diet & burning off fat than it is doing 4 hrs of crunches. With all the work you've done, you probably have the muscle already, you just can't find it under the fat.

Get in the weight room at LEAST 3 times a week. Weight training is the best way to jack up your metabolism & burn fat. Your body will actually keep burning fat for 12-18 hours after you've finished lifting. Do the big compound lifts - squats, deadlifts, bench press, shoulder press, rows... and yes, you do need some ab work.

Ditch the jogging & do HIIT cardio. Steady cardio only burns calories, it does nothing for your metabolism. HIIT does. Sprint for 20 seconds, then jog for 40. Repeat for 20-30 minutes. Work up to that level if you need to. If you have access to a 400m track, sprint the straights & jog the curves.

Get your diet in line. That means ditching the crap! About 40% carbs, 40% proteins, & 20% fats. Protein with every meal. You can start out around 2000 calories a day & drop 200 as more of your abs start to show ('cos it WILL get harder to lose the fat).

There is no easy way to get a 6-pack, and no shortcuts.

Okay your doing it right as far as the weight training and ab training is going. Try going for another 2 runs a week and for a longer distance. i think 2 miles is about 3.2 km so try like 4 miles or something. you have to a lot of cardio as well as the training otherwise the training is pointless. Also you need to do more intense cardio in smaller time periods such as fast skipping for 20 minutes or boxing etc. eat foods high in iron and protein as they help to build muscle eg. steak, spinach, green tea also. yeah thats pretty much it. good luck =D

You're gonna have to mix up your ab training, even more so than you do normal weight lifting change-ups....

I was lost when I started doing ab exercises. Even bought one of those ab rocker knock-offs. I finally found a good site with a great ab program. The site even has some free e-books (that you can obviously download for free) in reference to abdominal programs if you don't want to pay for the site.

Anyway, check it out.
