Ok so im 14 and want washboard abs. Im 5,6 and weigh 130. Im not thick but not skinny. I have been working out my upper body muscles at the gym for 3 months now and have seen some major improvement. I heard that you have to eat lots of protein to get muscles but how do i do that and get a sixpack doing situps eating whatever i want?

i wanted to know if there is any physically possible way for a fourteen year old girl to get tighter abs in just one day… haha i know this sounds stupid but please answer with helpfull stuff.. dont say. are u retarded!

I’ve been doing CORE wokrouts for months now and my abs are defined, I just need to lose the stomach fat in front of them to lose them, so I’m gong to jump rope. Do I need to continue to do abdominal workouts? Or will the jump roping make up for it?

When I use to work out with a personal trainer he worked my abs everyday. He stated that working your abs everyday broke those muscles down and then you work your abs every other day once you mid section starts to get smaller in size.

Well, I am 14 and I hit a golf ball 250 and I know I am strong, but I am sick of having a little flub everywhere. I have a work out every Monday, every night i do 50 push ups, 50 crunches with leg ups, and 50 leg lifts on my stomach for each leg. I eat OK, just an occasional cookie here and there, I don’t over eat or anything. So how do I get rid of a little flub over my stomach, and back?

Hey I’m 18 years old 6 feet tall and 135 pounds. It’s underweight by a few. I don’t each much junk food i try to eat healthy and avoid junk. I sometimes eat something sweet but not much of it. Maybe once or twice a week. I do eat a lot of grapes sometimes I eat a whole package in 1 day. But other than that I don’t eat much sweets and i do plan to cut down. So I workout everyday doing cardio. Eliptical pretty much the whole time and burn 1000 calories. Two different types of elipticals. I drink tons of water, and I’m a bird eater. haha to put it in a strange way. I have lost about 23 pounds since october, and i am alot more tone. Though my abs are flat i don’t see any definition. How many days out of the week should I exercise and what would you recommend? I plan on jogging at least an hour a day followed by lifting weights at college. OK, I am 14 years old, 5′8" or 5′9"-ish tall, and I have a round belly. My mom is kinda fat, and my dad is kinda fit with only a belly, but they both used to be fit before. I barely eat that much and I love playing video games, but I realized that I want to get fit, before High School. im 14 and 4 months old im anywhere between 5′1" and 5′3" in height and i weigh about 97 pounds (Though it may seem like im really skinny i actually have a bit of excess belly fat). i have been doing 50+ situps each night for maybe 2-4 weeks. when i started i could not see a six-pack when i flexed my abs but now i can slightly see one if i flex my abs a certain way. but i think that the bit of belly fat i mentioned earlier is covering it. i think that without it, my abs a visible.
So what im asking is:

1.Should i continue the situps i mentioned that i have been doing?
2.Should i start a new ab workout and should that replace or add-on to the situps?
3.What excersice or activity could get rid of my belly fat?
4.What foods should i avoid in trying to get rid of my belly fat?

I know that in order to get abs, you must remove the fat layer hanging over your hidden 6-pack. I was wondering if I should start doing abs in addition to my regular cardio routine and diet (Weight Watchers!) or should I wait until the fat from my stomach mysteriously melts away? I feel like a lot more guys have abs and muscles than girls, even girls who work out. Is that just because girls tend to have more body fat or are there other reasons?

I’d only like serious answers please. I’ve been doing about 100 crunches a day for a few weeks now and i can feel my rectus abdominis muscles are getting pretty damn hard. However, I currently only have a visible 4 pack since fat goes to the belly first and leaves it last. So, is 5.5km in 20 minutes on an elliptical set at minimum resistance a day enough to lose that annoyingly thin yet persistant layer of fat to be able to show off an 8 pack?

ok so im a 14 year old boy and im in 8th grade. I way 197 pounds and i just started to get 4 pack abs. I would like to turn that into a 6 pack by my 8th grade graduation on June 10th. Any tips?

Alright well, I’m 15 about 5′6, I weigh around 115-120, and I’m about 13 or 14 % body fat. I have a small layer of "fat" ( I guess that’s what I would call it.) on my stomach. When I flex you can kinda see the top abs, but i would like to tone them more and get rid of this layer of "fat". My question is what exercises would you recommend and what should I be eating.
Oh btw i do not have exercise equipment at home. I do how ever have access to a gym. However, i would prefer home exercises.

I noticed I had a little flab in my stomach, so at the beginning of this week I decided to do sit-ups and crunches. It’s now the end of the week and my stomach is already really toned, like I’m starting to get abs. Does this mean I’m just really healthy?

Ok so i want visible really bad, Im 15, 5′10, and i have about 20.6% body fat.. which i know i need to lose about 8 % of that.

I plan on getting on an exercise bike for about 30 mins, working out with weights and stuff and this is what ill eat..

Breakfast – K Cereal w/ skim milk, biscuit.. ( any suggestions i plan on having a big breakfast )

Lunch – A hot pocket, a hamburger, or a hotdog.. either one of those.. i go to school monday-fridays so ill have to eat whatever is on the menu.. but yeah ill probably eat one of those + green beans or something.

Dinner – Vegetables and Fruit..

Stop eating after 7PM.

Any other suggestions and when will i see progress and lose weight and how long will it take till eventually i have visible abs

I need to temporarily disable the ABS system until I can get a pair of new hubs and the snow melts so I can install them. I tried to pull the fuse (#14) but that takes out the speed odometer too. How can I disable the ABS without affecting anything else?

Okay I know I am only 15 and shouldn’t be worrying about this type of stuff but I was thinking and for my 15th birthday I got my hair done. I have low self esteem but ever since I changed my hair I felt better about myself. I know I can lose weight if I try. K so obviously I want 2 get abs. Im skinny so I really don’t have any fat so I think I can skip the weight loss part. So what are good ways 2 do this? Is biking good? or running?

I really want to get killer abs, so on-top of doing ab exercises, I was wondering what foods I should eat more of to help my ab exercises. What foods should I eat more of? Hi i don’t have any abs machines at my gym, as far as i know, can i get big abs through diet and crunches, i mean will there be a point where i get no effect, at my gym i don’t know any machines that have an effect on abs, or machines that are specified at abs, the only machine i have no idea what it does is one where it has two panels, and you get a choice of grips, like a stick or 2 handles etc, can that help me get abs?

Hi, Im Brian. Im 16 years old, attending high school and was seeking some advice on how to get some abs. Im 5.9 145 Ibs. I have a barely visible set of abs, as in I have to flex them and get the right light ratio to even see them there. Here is a basic day, as far as eating and exercise.

BREAKFEST

Usually saltine crackers, ritzbits, crackers in general

LUNCH

I get school lunch often (3-4 times a week)

DINNER

I eat a fruit/vegetable, piece of whole wheat bread, and whatever dinner might be, I dont eat until im stuffed though.

EXERCISE

I ride my bike casually (slowly) 1.5 miles apprx. to school every morning

I also drink a ton of milk, rarely soda, little water (maybe a few sips at school)

Im just looking to obtain 6 pack abs, Im very happy with my physical state and I am just trying to improve it. Thank you very much to all that take the time to read this and have made it this far. It is appreciated more than you know.

Ok i’ve been jogging for 2 weeks and doing situps on a night. I have cut down on alot of the sugary snacks i ate before such as chocolate and sweets but still have some. I do not drink as much fizzy pop and only have 1 – 2 cup full a day with my main meal.I am 17, 6 ft 2 and weight 76 kg. My stomach is now quite tight after jogging and already i can see a line down the middle of my abs. How long do you think it will be before I get a full 6 pack??

Im 16 years old. i am about 6 foot 165lbs. i am on an extremely healthy diet. I know that spot reduction is bologna, bogus. I do cardio such as jump rope ,running, and bicycle riding everyday. I lift weights often. I do crunches(proper form) about twice a week. I have begun riding a stationary bike for ten or more miles a day. i am 13, 5′11 and 121lbs so i have to have a fast metabolism because i dont have an ounce of fat on me so i figure it would be easy to get abs.

I was eating pretty healthy for like a week or so but then today today I ate chicken nuggets with a frozen coffee drink and I had a banana shake and 3 slices of pizza two chocolate chip cookies (small ones) and then two small packs of bluebell ice cream. i think im quite near getting a six pack because when i tense i can see all the 6 abs i just have some flab(not much flab just when i slouch down it sticks out) there so i cant see it.
about 6 days a week i do a 30 minute run at fast speed on tredmill. im going to cut out all chocolate out my diet and eat more protein and fruit. how long would it take so the abs show all the time when im standing up or doing anything..? i also do lots of weight training.

Kay, Im 15, 5 foot 9, about 119 pounds. I do Taekwondo and i have muscle verse fat. What is the best workout to get six-pack abs? Is there stuff I should and shouldn’t eat? I have been on a regiment for 3 months now and have lost 35 pounds. I do weight lifting 3 times a week and do ab exercises. My stomach is still flabby and I have a ways to go.
