simply put, i’ve been doing several different exercises found on the internet which promise 6 pack abs over like 6 weeks. I do them as instructed with weights where possible to work harder, repeating until failure for each workout…..but then i get nothing more than a 4 pack tensing the abs in good light!!! what am i doing wrong exactly? i am very skinny and have basically no fat and very little muscle…am not puny but aint exactly strong! so what do i need to do!

also please list some excersises or websites that show excersises to get abs very quickly and should i use these protien shakes that u can buy to increase muscles? would that help get abs quicker?

Really, I think it’s an awesome way to look at your fitness. Unless you have a 6 pack, you’re not eating well enough and working out hard enough. I think it’s a good goal, have a 6 pack all your life unless you’re pregnant. And it’s a pretty good long term goal, I mean even if it takes you 5 years, it’s pretty motivating to keep working out knowing that one day you’ll look that good.

Eat lean meat and vegetables, no fruits or vegetables and no breads or cereals even if they are complex carbs. Eat none of them regardless what type of carbs- Simple or Complex. Drink lots of water and workout. You’ll get your 6 pack for sure and you’ll notice the fat and inches coming off of your stomach. I guarantee you. Will you do it like I’m doing it right now? ok so i heard the only way to get a 6pack abs is to reduce your body fat ok so how should i reduce my body fat? and my other question is is it possible to get a 6 pack if im 11% body fat and my trainner said i need 8% body fat for my 6 pack is it possible to get a 6 pack in 2 months if i eat healthy and run every day i usually burn 250 calories running a day should i burn more? what else should i do?

In this article we will shortly get the principles of How to get 6 pack abs, starting with two exercises that have the same two objectives: lose fat and build muscle.

For building muscle we will use two exercises:

  1. Do Crunches

Put a mat on the floor, lie down, cross your arms in front of your chest, bend your knees. Your hands should not be placed behind your head.

Raise your shoulders towards your knees, lifting only part of your torso off the floor, not all of it. The shoulders’ lifting is the most important part of the crunch. Exhale when going up, stop your breath for a moment when you’re on the top and inhale when going down.

Go down until all your back touches the ground. Avoid touching the ground with your head.

  1. 2. Do Sit Ups

Like before, Lie down on the floor, but now put your feet on the floor, your knees up and the fingers are placed behind your ears or hands that are crossed on your chest.

My abs are sore, as they generally are when I workout intensively after a while, but I just ignore the pain and keep going.
