Can i get big abs just by crunches, please read more?

Hi i don’t have any abs machines at my gym, as far as i know, can i get big abs through diet and crunches, i mean will there be a point where i get no effect, at my gym i don’t know any machines that have an effect on abs, or machines that are specified at abs, the only machine i have no idea what it does is one where it has two panels, and you get a choice of grips, like a stick or 2 handles etc, can that help me get abs?

    Diet makes your abs show, exercising makes them big. End of story

    Crunches will be effective until your body learns how to do them efficiently, and then you’ll stop making progress. Just switch to another exercise like reverse crunches, and then hanging leg raises.

    The sicilian crunch is done holding a dumbbell above your body as you crunch. After 1-2 months of regular crunches, switch to sicilian crunches. Squeeze everything out of the regular crunches before switching. If you’re strong enough, the sicilian crunch is very easy. I usually use a 60kg DB when doing sicilian crunches.
    I’d suggest working on regular crunches before using weights. A weighted vest also works(can be a bit bothersome for some).
