well i have a friend that wants to get a six pack really bad. he is ona diet and shit and he never eats like junk food. do you really NEED a diet for a six pack? i know plenty of people that eat a lot but have a six pack. if my friend doesnt need a ditet, what else could he do?

Kay, Im 15, 5 foot 9, about 119 pounds. I do Taekwondo and i have muscle verse fat. What is the best workout to get six-pack abs? Is there stuff I should and shouldn’t eat? Right now I kind of have a little pouch that will NOT GO AWAY and it is driving me nuts. Also if someone could tell me the best way to tone up my legs (mostly my thighs) that would be great. Hello everyone , i was wondering what a good six pack abs diet is.. Can you please just get to the point. Everyone who posts just talks and talks and its hard to find the info.. ill tell you some stuff now such as my workouts, weight , height , and daily intake.

Breakfast – Oatmeal Or Yogurt Or cereal most of times
Snack – sometimes , mostly yogurts
Lunch – Turkey Sandwiches or I dont know =/ probably popcorn with no salt or butter. ( at school i just drink water and have like a turkey wrap or so.
After School Snack – Yogurts i guess dont really know
Dinner – What ever My moms makes.. but mostly fish and chicken i like to eat

Workout – my coach gave me 1 (phase I and II ) constists of lunges , weights such as bench deadlifts , front bridges , pullups , and some stuff with dumbels.
- I added some Ab workouts such as laying down move feet like a bike and left oposite eblows to knees
- also lay down 6 inch off ground ur feet go up and crunches and stuff

- Im 5′6 ish maybe a little bit taller.
- Im about 132 Pounds

Also! When i crunch I can see My top 4 six pack abs.. only when i crunch.. Im trying to get some fat off the bottom part of my stomach.. Its not noticable with shirt on but without its just a little bit like a couple of pounds off my stomach. Please help me by

I already have a flat stomach and when I flex my abs, I can see an outline of a six pack, but how can I have a very well defined six pack, one that will show with out flexing at all? What should I be eating and what exercises should I be doing (I already do tons of crunches and run 4 miles a day) to obtain my six pack goal?

I am currently weight training to put on muscle, and am relatively skinny except for around my stomach which has a lot of fat around it.

I do not want to do large amounts of CV because it will lose the muscle I have already achieved. How do I go about losing the fat on my stomach, especially on the sides, whilst maintaining my muscle training. I am 21 and want to achieve the V shape with a flat stomach especially on the sides. Currently it looks like an upside down V!!!!

I have been on a regiment for 3 months now and have lost 35 pounds. I do weight lifting 3 times a week and do ab exercises. My stomach is still flabby and I have a ways to go. I drink pretty much only water, with the occasional diet soda once or twice a month. I dont eat a lot of sugars but i do eat some and i eat healthy and keep under 1500 calories. Is this good after 3 months? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get tighter abs? Anything I can do to make the weight loss go faster? Or am I at the right pace? I was basically totally inactive (no walking) for three months and took things easy for 9 months, because of a car accident. I stopped all my physical activities like dance and martial arts. I I gained quite a few pounds over that time, but most of it came off when I started my activities again.

So I just need to lose a few pounds to get back to how I was. Also lately I’ve noticed more stomach fat (NOT pregnant) Any suggestions of how to lose those pounds and stomach fat?

well ritenow i hav thick calves and i wud really like 2 get them in shape. i rarely kno of exercises which targets dis area and i d ones i kno of, i’ve tried, and they don’t work.also, i’ve been doing crunches for a really really long time and i don’t see any abs forming.

I would be working out an 1hr to 2hrs at a time with equipment at a gym. After a month I would add boxing for half of the work out time.

im 6 foot 160 pounds not fat……..i play football. i run regularly and weightlift 4 times a week,i wanna get a six pack but i heard you have to have really low body fat for it too show…..or since im not done growing my ab muscles haven’t fully developed yet thats why i cant get a sixpack ??

im trying to get a six pack and i workout 3 or 4 times a week but there is a small layer of fat over my abs. Can i lose this weight by just dieting or would i have to do cardio as well???

My friends and I have made this really crazy bet to be the first one to get a six pack. I can deal with the work out as long as it doesn’t call for buying stuff such as weights or stuff to assist you. I’d like for it to maybe 2 weeks if possible 3 would be good to. I am 5′7” and 125lbs. I work out at the gym religiously 6 days a week. I have been doing kick boxing twice a week as well and yoga then the other days I do the elliptical for an hour and tread mill for half an hour alternating between jogging and sprinting every minute. Im trying to get a six pack by bikini season. Im close but not quite there. My eating habits are pretty good. Any suggestions??

I do 500 push ups, 500 sit ups, 150 pull ups, and run a mile every single day of the week. I also weight lift, i can bench 150, curl 90, and backarm 70 for max. i have been working out everyday of the week for two years, i also eat and drink really well, what is going on

I have had a six pack ever since I was younger, and I’m 16 now, as I have got older I have realised I am quite lucky.
So I was wondering will I loose my 6 Pack as I get older, because of the metabolism thing.

I found a very effective pilates ab routine on youtube and this is the second day I have done it. Is it ok to do everyday until I am satisfied? My abs are sore, as they generally are when I workout intensively after a while, but I just ignore the pain and keep going. Should I put ice or hot water bottles on the sore areas or is there a natural remedy?

I am 6 weeks pregnant and I am having bad neck and back pain. I never had this kind of pain during my first pregnancy. I am kind of worried are these signs of miscarriage. I really want a six pack. Don’t ask me why, it’s just one of them things! I’m currently 5ft 9” and 9 stone 10 lb and male. I’m not the most muscular person ever but I do have quite strong abdominal and arm muscles which i know contribute to my weight. My body fat is around 16.5% and i’ve read you need 12% maximum to have a visible six pack. I have a small layer of fat (1 inch) covering my abdominals and about 2 inches on my lower belly (pouch) and I was wondering how long it would take to get from 16.5% to 12%? I have lowered my calories by roughly 1000 aday (2500 to 1500) on a balanced diet. I do 30-60 minutes cardio each day and work my abs every second day as i know it’s easy to overwork them. Does anyone have any idea on how long this will take me? Or any suggestions on where i can improve.

Okay so i’m trying to build up a six pack abs and at the moment im doing various types of crunches and lots of running. I wanted to know which foods i should eat, how much etc and what i should avoid. Also please tell me how long it usually takes to get one :)

hi, im currently eating correctly for them but in my dailt diet im also taking in over 192 grams of carbohydrates and 22 grams of fat. Im sure the fat levels are okay but is this too much carbohydrates? ive tried aznd tested so many different meals and this is literally the lowest I can get it down to without falling too far from my calorie intake! (im not fat or anything just want to lose a bit of belly fat to get these abs, as I am weight training aswell) thanks for your help

Should you do a cardio workout before or after an ab workout for best results?

I run a few miles/km each morning and do lots of other sports. I am wondering what is the most effective or healthiest time for me to do my Ab exercises. I only try to do about 100 sit-ups on the machine but I am looking for consistency and structure in my routine.

Before running in the morning, after, at night, before dinner, after dinner, just before bed? What do I need to know?

I think it is very hard for a woman to get a huge, muscular upper body without steroids, but I have seen athletic women with abs who did not have the steroid look.

I am 15 and way 120 lbs. I’m definatley not over wieght. I had a six pack for a while last year, but it eventually went away. I have been doing sit ups and push ups daily. I have gained quite a bit of upper body strength, but my six pack hasn’t come back yet.
Any suggestions?

i work out all my muscle groups but i workout my abs the longest what should i eat after an ab workout?

Today I did 500 hundred abdominal exercises divided into:
300 sit ups
200 leg raises

My doubt is if 500 abdominal exercises daily are enough for that area. I don’t feel any sore since I’ve been doing these exercises for 7 months or so (during a weight loss process). I can go for more than that ,but I also run 1 hour daily ,do a little weight lifting only for biceps, and push ups. Even if I don’t feel any sore I feel somewhat tired. Should I keep doing that or should I go for around 1000 (which I’ve done before) and most important: Are 500 enough?

i know you need totaly different diets for each abs require less calories, biceps more. is it possible to train each to the best possible at same time?
if not which is better to do first i assume biceps n the lose the body fat if any, i dont have much.

I’m a beginner at crunches, my plan is to not do them everyday instead I do it every other day so my abs can have a day of rest, also I jog everyday and I don’t have that much stomach fact, I don’t really have any fat anywhere and I’m pretty fit.

I’m 15 and i have nice arms (Sorry to be big headed lol) But still
i haven’t developed a good sexy 6 pack yet. People say doing sit ups would be an good idea, but how many sit ups? 100-150 a day or something? Hey fitness people! Does anyone have some examples of abdominal exercises appropriate for people who are obese? Many of the ab exercises I see are a challenge because of the paunch I already have.

My trainers in the gym they told me that it is impossible to strengthen the abdominal muscles as the ideal , Which is a 6 muscles in the abdomen unless he did the break-fat , I do abdominal exercises often to get the ideal format for abdominal muscles but is the trainers talk is right ? that abdominal exercises is not enough to get what i want ?

So, I know that to get a visible six pack I need a low percentage of body fat. The lower the more visble im assuming. However, If i lose so much body fat and weight, my body would get smaller. So, how can I get a bigger stronger upper body while losing belly fat; since it isn’t possible to spot reduce fat.

Btw, I’m 5′5" weighing at 120lbs which is pretty low I think.

Whenever i do crunches my back starts hurting a lot (about after 20 crunches) way before i start have a good workout. When i do transverses ab exercises my back seems fine, also leg lifts. I used to do a lot of sit ups. My back usually is fine its just when i do abdominal exercises.

I am looking for new ideas on exercising,the lower abdominal area! Especially After having two c-sections it is a trouble spot! Any ladies,who have had children by abdominal surgery(c-section) you know that pouch that is so hard to get rid of? It is quite frustrating! I wish I could just get plastic surgery to remove it. Unfortunately,I can not at this time. However, my second C-section was a disaster. It was an emergency section,(as well as the first) but the doctor really hacked my stomach the second time around,compared to my first incision. The second one was a much bigger incision and much to far up from the first. Anyhow, I would love to hear of any (lower) or regular abdominal exercises.
